Have you ever seen an SCA alum in a really cool place in their career and wondered “how do I get there?” With all the success alumni are finding professionally, we’ve probably all asked ourselves that very question. That’s why the SCA Alumni Council is excited to announce a new series that will complement our Fifth Friday webinars called “How Do I Become…?”

The premise is exactly what you’re thinking: taking a national park superintendent, someone doing awesome graduate research, people involved with amazing nonprofits, and asking them “how did you get where you are today?”

Certainly, each person takes a different path to get to where they are so each presentation, while consisting of the same questions, will happen in a different way. After all, what better way to get a sense of that variety than from the individual themselves?

Join SCA as we follow along on alumni career journeys — twists, turns, and exciting happenings included. We will host two webinars in 2021 and hope to expand and perhaps even add other ways of sharing in the future. Our first webinar will be Friday, March 10th at 12:00 noon/9:00 a.m. ET/PT. Special guest speakers will be announced soon.
