Donating stock to SCA is a wonderful way to help our conservation and youth education mission. One attraction of donating appreciated securities, like stock, is that the tax savings enable you to make a gift at less cost than if you were to sell the shares and donate the equivalent amount in cash outright.
Donating stock electronically is usually done through your broker. Some brokerage firms may require a written request from you to make a transfer to SCA. When doing so, you can provide the following account information to them or simply have them contact SCA’s Gift Planning office at 888-722-9675 email: giftplanning@thesca.org for the information.
