During a five-month period, SCA’s Houston Virtual Community Program allowed for members to immerse themselves in an environmental conservation-based curriculum.
Topics included teambuilding, environmental literacy, environmental justice, financial literacy & career exploration, and advocacy & action. Even in a virtual setting, members were able to work together and take action on finding solutions to address conservation-related issues in their community.
