I am the project leader for the wonderful 2014 SCA WildCorps crew. I am indeed no stranger to the SCA, but when I arrived to Ridgecrest back in September, the desert life was a new and exciting adventure for me. Melissa Patterson is the Program Director for SCA Massachusetts AmeriCorps. This is her ﬁrst year in this position, and her sixth year as staff with SCA Massachusetts. She moved the Program Director role after ﬁve years of serving the SCA Massachusetts as the Conservation Coordinator. Rob Hopkinson is in his ﬁrst year as program staff at SCA Massachusetts. Rob coordinates the conservation season, managing and implementing training and providing support during summer hitches. Chris Burley is in his ﬁrst year as a program staff member with SCA Massachusetts AmeriCorps, as the Kitchen coordinator. CHris handles all the food and kitchen duties from menu planning, food shopping to cooking. Chris comes to us most recently from Ohio where he worked at a natural foods grocer called Earth Fare as the Produce Inventory Specialist.
