Join us for Earth Day 2009!

Join SCA for a day of service at Anacostia Park in honor of Earth Day. Get your hands dirty removing planting trees and grasses, weeding gardens, removing invasive species, mulching, and other outdoor projects. Meet SCA alumni, Conservation Leadership Corps members, SCA supporters, community members, SCA staff, and NPS staff.

* We will be working on a variety of projects around Anacostia Park. Something for everyone!

* Remember you're working outside, so dress appropriately to be outdoors all day (layers help) and don't wear anything you'd be afraid to get dirty!

* Tools, gloves and project materials will be provided.

When: Saturday, April 25th from 10 AM – 4 PM
