Position ID
Conduct conservation educational activities at the NAS Black Point Nature Center, 30%; maintain native plant/butterfly garden exhibit, 10%; assist with habitat improvement and invasive species control projects, 30%; participate in training and office work, 10%; assist with miscellaneous projects, including wildlife surveys, urban forestry, and technical grounds assistance, 20%.
  • NAS Jacksonville is a master air base located 13 miles from downtown Jacksonville. Located on the St. John’s River the Main Station is over 3,000 acres.
  • Training is available on an “as needed” basis. Every opportunity to enhance members certifications/education will be taken.
  • Conferences, symposiums, training, etc will be offered when there is availability.
