POSITION: Program & Operations Coordinator, Mission Outdoors
Organization: Sierra Club, San Francisco, CA
Sierra Club’s Mission Outdoors program, an effort to reconnect Americans with the outdoors, is looking for a program and operations coordinator to help the team with a spectrum of operational, budget, grant, and administrative functions. He/she will help coordinate staff and volunteers, track program expenses, ensure grant deadlines are upheld, and assist other staff in advancing policy, outreach, and organizing goals. This is a great opportunity to join a small, dedicated team working to connect all people with nature and with one another, increasing their commitment to conservation and cultivating community leadership.
The ideal candidate will have a 2- or 4-year degree, and at least 1 year of experience working in a general operations support role. Proven communication and presentation skills are important, as well as a history of working with volunteers.
