Yellowstone National Park from two perspectives
I was a crew member on a high school crew in Yellowstone the summer of '93. This was after the fires and we were one of many crews working in the park. Our crew built a native timber bridge along the Elk Creek Trail in the NW of the park. Ten years later I returned to Yellowstone as a crew leader and spent 30 days in the Thorofare Region rerouting a trail. We were 30 miles from the nearest road and in one of the most beautiful places in the country.
