Implementation:
The Senior Email Campaigner is responsible for coordination and executing our donation drives, as well as leading the online team efforts to identify trending issues and leverage them for list growth, fundraising and online to offline actions.
The senior email campaigner is responsible for planning, writing, and executing email campaigns that advance the Greenpeace USA’s goals.
Support / Coaching / Leadership:
The position will require significant technical project management skills and ability in analyzing email list data in order maximize list growth and funds raised
Compliance / Keeping Framework Conditions:br / The senior email campaigner will develop a metric-driven multi-year email strategy that will maximize the organization’s fundraising and online action capacities.
The Senior Email Campaigner will also be responsible for maximizing the potential for raising funds through direct donations on the Greenpeace website through technical enhancement, best practices in web design and refinement of our web donation functionality.

Requirements
Technical Competency/Expertise:
Excellent writing and editing skills with strong attention to detail; strong and personable, sharp, and personable
3 to 5 years of organizing and/or campaigning experience; you can craft messages that move people to act, and you know what actions will achieve the right impact at the right time
Familiarity with online organizing platforms (e.g. Convio)
Familiar with basic HTML coding
Preference will be given for applicants with experience with journalism or speechwriting, online organizing, email list segmentation, graphic design and page layout, and statistical analysis and reporting.
Method-Related Competency:
Ability to gather appropriate metrics to measure performance and use that data to improve on future performance
Ability to pull together and lead an ad-hoc working groups to work on rapid issue response.
Knowledge of email testing and list segmentation
Key Competencies (Social Competency and Self-Competency):
Self-motivated individual that can see an opportunity and capitalize on it with little direction.
Ability to manage multiple complex projects
Knowledge of environmental issues
