The Student Conservation Association (SCA), a national force of conservation volunteers is seeking experienced, quality oriented outdoor leaders to supervise a team of corps members responsible for completing a trail inventory project. Be part of a new SCA initiative working with the USFS, performing Trail Assessment and Condition Surveys (TRACS) of multiple trails throughout the Forests. TRACS survey tasks include linear measurement, measurement of all trail features, photographing features and conditions, utilizing GPS to gather spatial information and documentation of all of the above. Teams may be provided housing or live in a developed campground for days off, but may also camp in remote locations or spike camps while in the field. Each team will consist of 1 Project Leader and 3 corps members. This position is full time, seasonal.

Compensation: Salary range $520-$560 per week, paid biweekly. Paid training including up to $550 reimbursement for travel to training. Workers Compensation and Accident Insurance. Food provided by SCA while crew is in the field.
