Zach Poulson

Environmental Educator and Conservation Field Crew Member

Born & raised in Erie Pennsylvania from September 18 1990 until my departure for higher education 18 years later to Edinboro University of Pennsylvania. I spent 4 years studying the earth. My focuses included structural geology & quaternary glacial geology of Northwestern Pennsylvania and East Central New York State. I love Bear Brook for a number of reasons. Some being the terrific friends I have made so far & the experiences I’ve had as an environmental educator. Bear Brook also has many remnants of tectonic plate processes (the formation of the Appalachian Mountains) & glacial features from past ice sheets that once covered the land during the Pliestocene. I came to Bear Brook to become a more effective and trained Environmental Steward. I trust that upon completion of this program I will have achieved something even greater than that.
