Rachael Christie is a western Pennsylvania native. As recent college graduate from Slippery Rock University, Rachael earned her B.S. in park and resource management with an emphasis in environmental education, along with receiving a minor in biology. Immersed in nature as a child and throughout her adolescence, Rachael credits her deep-rooted conservation ethics to the influence of her father and grandmother. Past involvement with the Pennsylvania Center for Environmental Education (PCEE), Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and National Resources (DCNR), Student Conservation Association (SCA), and other environmental organizations has fueled Rachael’s passion for educating others about the natural environment.
