The season is just around the corner...

This coming summer, SCA will again engage local students (ages 15-19) from the Jacksonville area in community conservation projects around the city. Students will provide hands-on service doing meaningful environmental work projects such as trail building and restoration, invasive plant removal, revegetation projects and site restoration projects in national, regional, state, and city parks. Weekly field trips will also complement this six-week summer program.
The program is designed to provide employment and education to develop conservation and community leaders as well as develop local community land stewards. Most importantly...students have fun!
Program dates are June 28 to August 6.
To apply for a position as a Crew Member, please fill out the following application and return it to program coordinator, Lauren Winn, at email: lwinn@thesca.org or fax: (904) 354-6352. Once the application is processed, additional paperwork will follow.
