Coastal Prairie Planting on Earth Day

This Earth Day project was the first of many coastal prairie ecosystem restoration projects in the Houston area. The project is in join collaboration with many partners, including the Coastal Prairie Partnership, Texas Master Naturalists and the Hermann Park Conservancy. On Saturday SCA Houston was joined by volunteers from the Clinton Foundation in celebration of Earth Day and conservation initiatives throughout the US.

The second speaker, Adrian Willis, is a third year SCA Houston program member.

and all of your classmates are proud to know you. Thanks to your conservation efforts, you have changed our world and are helping to preserve it for future generations. You are an inspiration to all of us.
