What would you tell the President?

We all know President-elect Obama is a strong proponent of service, but everyone has different ideas about what that should mean.

Naturally, here at SCA we're focused on conservation service. And we'd like to know, as an SCA alum or supporter, what would you tell the President if you had a chance to chat with him about conservation service?

I proudly sing “america the beautiful”, because I know it is true; and I know that I have to worked to keep it true. I volunteer my summers with SCA to ensure that America is still beautiful. Environmental Conservation work is essential in order to maintain that beauty. Volunteers are needed to to maintain “the purple mountain’s majesty above the fruitous plain”. Volunteers require government funding so they can preserve America’s beauty. At SCA the funding does not go to the volunteers, it goes to supply the volunteers with the products they need in order to keep our country beautiful. Please support the volunteers, please support SCA Talia F
